Who we are
Snapgrove Pets is a portrait-generation app for pets, operated by 2800977 Alberta Inc. dba Snapgrove, a Canadian company based in Blackfalds, Alberta. We take your privacy seriously and try to collect only what we actually need.
Data we collect

We do not collect location data, contacts, or any other device information.
How we use it
- Generating portraits — your uploaded photos are sent to our AI generation provider (Fal.ai) to create your pet portraits, then stored in your gallery.
- Account function — managing your login, session, and access to your content.
- Billing — processing payments and issuing receipts through Stripe.
- Abuse prevention — detecting and blocking misuse of the service.
- Customer support — responding to your requests or reports.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build behavioural profiles.

We use the following services to run Snapgrove Pets. Each receives only the data necessary for their specific function.

What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Ever, to anyone.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models — public or private. Fal.ai is contractually bound not to use your submitted data for model training.
Data retention
Your photos and generated portraits are kept for the life of your account so your gallery is always available.
You can delete your account at any time using the Delete Account button on the Billing page. Deletion removes all your photos, generated images, profile data, and purchase records from our systems. The only exception: Stripe transaction records may be retained as required by law for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (see above, or email us)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction

Children's privacy
Snapgrove Pets is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us at hello@snapgrove.ai.
International data transfers
We are a Canadian company, but some of our processors operate in the United States. Your data may be processed in Canada or the United States by the providers listed above. Where applicable, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you by email. Minor clarifications may be made without notice.
